| Attendees talking to Joseph Farah at the Freedom21 Conference in Dallas, Texas. |
At the last minute, Freedom 21 founder, Henry Lamb and his wife Irene were unable to be there, but they have built a solid organization, and because of their preparation and work behind the scenes, the meeting was superb. Be sure to order Henry’s excellent DVD on The North American Union. DVD’s or an MP3 audio of the entire meeting can be obtained by contacting Timothy Smith.
Tom DeWeese of the American Policy Center and Cathy Adams of Texas Eagle Forum were both full of information and energy as they took the reins in Henry’s absence. Cathy has attended many UN Conferences and Tom has long been a conservative leader. Henry’s son, Merritt Lamb and his wife Karen, along with Kay Lynn Wilson and her son Byron were there making certain everything ran smoothly. Ronnie and Bev Merritt from New Mexico were helping behind the scenes also, so we were in good hands.
There are a number of links in this Freedom 21 report. I hope you use them because you will be astounded at the information available. We still have a chance to bail this nation out, but we can’t do it by sitting around complaining. We have to become informed and take action.
The very first morning it was exciting to sit at the breakfast table with Joan Veon. Joan has attended over 90 United Nation’s conferences, authored numerous books and DVD productions. Joan has a vast knowledge on many topics. Her material and resources can be found on her Women’s Group website. Clarice Ryan from Montanans for Multiple Use and my husband were also at the table and we had a great time.

One thing about a Freedom 21 conference, those who attend are not only well informed, but they are a lot of fun so we have many entertaining gatherings.
National Animal Identification System
Are you or your children ready to take the “chip?”. It may be closer than you think if the very controlling National Animal Identification System (NAIS) is implemented. The USDA controlled system would make the owner of any livestock animal, including horses, llama, rabbits, etc. forced to mark each animal he owns with a Radio Frequency Identification tag (RFID). Tongue in cheek it is called the “mark of the beast.”
Promoters of NAIS say it is necessary because it is “market driven.” NAIS activist, Mary Rivera of Arkansas, has coined the phrase “mark-it driven.” Mary said, “if you don’t mark it you can’t sell it.”
Under NAIS, your farm will be assigned a premise identification number so your property can be monitored. If your horse leaves your property for a trail ride, 4-H or FFA animals for a fair or show, you must file a report within 24 hours or be fined. The same applies if an animal dies, has babies, is sold, butchered or any other change. They say it is voluntary at this time but there are too many indications it will be mandated. At one time seat belts were voluntary.
Attorneys Judith McGeary and Karin Bergener have put their careers on hold to fight the implementation of NAIS. They have extensive information on their Liberty Ark website. Small producers must fight harder than ever against NAIS because trusted organizations such as Farm Bureau and Cattlemen’s Assn. are lobbying hard to implement NAIS. The word on the street is they smell money and since there will be an enormous amount of data to be collected and maintained, they want to be the ones to do it….for a fee.Global Warming and Environment
Most people only know about the junk science liberal groups promote. Freedom 21 is blessed to have Dr. Michael Coffman of Sovereignty International, who has produced an extremely informational DVD on the truth of whether it is Global Warming or Global Governance available from his website. Dr. Bonner Cohen, Senior Fellow at the Lexington Institute updated conference attendees on the latest environmental issues we are facing. These are two trusted, credentialed experts in the scientific field.
North American Union, SPP and Trans-Texas Corridor (which will affect every United States citizen.)
It was encouraging to see that Texans are alive and well and they are not one bit happy with their Governor Perry and with what is happening. A 1200 foot wide, 4000 mile long NAFTA super highway corridor is scheduled to run through their state taking millions of acres of privately owned property
This massive limited access corridor will begin at the Mexican port of Lazaro Cardenas and extend through the United States to Canada. The Kelo eminent domain decision has set a precedent and will make the taking of property much easier.
Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily spoke with passion about the Security and Prosperity Partnership forming the North American Union which will destroy the sovereignty of the United States. He said the number one industry in Mexico is drugs. All the worst fears of NAFTA have been realized and agriculture is promoting the open borders - supposedly on the basis of needing workers. WorldNetDaily has been on top of this situation with articles by Jerome Corsi.
David Stall of Corridor Watch has gathered a tremendous amount of information on the highway plans that are already laid out and ready for construction to begin next year by Cintra, a Spanish business. Amanda Teegarden is leading Oklahoma in the battle.
People are rising up to fight this battle and as Patrick Wood of the August Review said, “we’ll fight you till hell freezes over - and then we’ll fight you on the ice.”
United States citizens should be outraged that the Trans-Texas corridor is not being built by the United States but by Cintra, a Spanish group.
Phyllis Schlafly has studied and written extensively about the SPP, North American Union and the Trans-Texas Corridor. Schlafly said a SmartPort will be located in Kansas City, MO as a customs location for the corridor and will be designated “Mexican sovereign territory.” Schlafly explained the SmartPort plans to enable cheap-labor products made in Communist China to travel in sealed “containers nonstop for the Far East by way of Mexico“ up the superhighway. For more information go to the Eagle Forum website.
Cliff Kincaid, editor of the Accuracy in Media Report, has also researched and written extensively on the North American Union and many other subjects. NASCO is an important part of the NAFTA Super Corridor.
Dan and Margaret Byfield’s Texas home was surrounded by flood water while they were at the conference but of greater concern was the fact their property is located in the path of the Trans-Texas Corridor. Dan heads Liberty Matters and American Land Foundation while Margaret is in charge of Stewards of the Range.
Christian Constitutionalist Steve Pratt’s home in Utah was threatened by the raging forest fires while he inspirationally spoke at the conference. Steve Pratt, along with the Byfields, felt the more intense threat of losing their freedoms and the sovereignty of the United States than their own homes. They are indeed examples of God’s word in Isaiah 43:2.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES:
Craig Rucker, Executive Director of the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) brought information from the U.N. Climate Change meetings he has attended and his efforts to take Freedom 21 to the world. CFACT has exposed many environmental fallacies and has been a strong advocate of Freedom 21.
Fighting a very difficult battle against Agenda 21in Santa Cruz, CA, Michael Shaw told of their constant battle against Sustainable Development. Water control, eminent domain and numerous property rights violations are constant. His group keeps very busy at Freedom Advocates, (formerly Freedom 21 Santa Cruz.).
It was refreshing to hear conservative Republican Presidential Candidate, Duncan Hunter. If we don’t support candidates such as Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul, the future for the United States seems very bleak.
The plan to take the minds of our children and turn them into little global citizens is indeed frightening. Thank God for men such as Michael Chapman and Allen Quist from EdWatch who keep track of what is happening in the classroom and inspire a grassroots movement to retake the control of education.
Not all is doom and gloom. The meeting ended on a positive note with Fred Kelly Grant's workshop. He taught us some advanced strategy covering legal research and organizational planning. Fred Grant partnered with Dan and Margaret Byfield and they put together a tremendous workbook to be used in our local battles.
It would be impossible to leave out one of the highlights of the conference, singer Jim Worthing. He is one of the most fantastic patriotic singers in the nation. Somehow he just makes you want to get up and get to work to save our nation. If you need inspiration at an upcoming event, please contact Jim at 662-226-0614.
Yes, the United States has problems, but our forefathers were brave, intelligent people. When challenged, Americans have always risen to the cause. We are NOT defeated, but we do need to know what is happening around us and stand up for our freedoms or we will lose them.
