Very accurate article in WND about the North American Union, but what can we do? I have been critical of your softness on Bush - I have always considered him a New World Order hack who is ready to sell out America in a heartbeat and now he has done so. This article of yours convinces me you are quite aware of his betrayal to America. There are many groups aware of the sellout of America, yours, tax and Federal Reserve education organizations, the Constitution Party etc. but they are all too weak and scattered to stop the fascist dictatorship that is rapidly descending upon America.
We are headed for financial collapse, to be followed by full dictatorship fairly soon. All these groups are always in reaction to the elite. Do you know how to bring together a group to lead America out of this inevitability and back to freedom? If we wait for the collapse before we organize, it will be too late. Your thoughts?

In 1999, we launched the Freedom21 Campaign, a coalition of organizations who share the desire to adavnce the principles of freedom which we define. You can learn about this group at its website.
There are many other groups attempting to do the same thing in one way or another. None of the groups is strong enough to make a serious political difference working alone. None of the groups has been able to attract sufficient cooperation to demonstrate a significant force. Nevertheless, all the groups are doing what they can, and making some difference, if it is only to slow the rate of descent.
If I had the answer, it would have been implemented before now. We do what we can to encourage people to get involved with whatever group they are comfortable, and do whatever they can at the local, state and federal levels. I am convinced that whatever the answer is, it will require far more people and many more resources that we have yet been able to attract.
I fear that the current slew of congressional "road trip" hearings are just a scam leading to the consensus process. Scattered public hearings, facilitators, canned agendas, and finally an announced consensus that "the American people have spoken, the consensus is that we will have a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants and expand guest-worker programs" (the liberal Senate version).
Congress is off the hook, Joe Six Pack thinks it is the American way that the majority of the "PEOPLE" want this. Nothing is achieved as far as immigration reform that secures our border. With the mexican border open, the North American Super-Highway construction can begin. The corporations win, we (the PEOPLE) lose.

Do you mind if your articles on NAIS is reprinted as a handout for distribution? The most illogical thing about the NAIS is that the government exempts its own free ranging livestock, allowing deer and elk with "wasting disease" to roam at will, rabid raccoons to wander around as well as bears who are a danger to the public.
I believe more people have been killed by bears than have died of BSE or avian flu contracted from a small farm....and what about all those wild birds, freely flying around without tags, pooping and landing on and around our property possibly spreading disease? Aren't they more of a risk??When are they going to be tagged and tracked?

Please do reprint our articles on NAIS, and distribute them widely. The more people who learn about this awful program, the better chance we have to stop it.
I support Ron Paul a 110% when I can. However, being on SSA its difficult to support monetarily. I do write my elected officials about this major problem. Today I've only had a response from Conrad Burns who says that he votes against any thing for the U.N.
I've lived in and worked in 18 states two months or more, and when eligible I've voted in these states, and I've written the elected officials with not much results. I've also worked in 6 countries from Kingdoms to Communist countries.
I believe that if we just withheld all the funds from the U.N., it would dry up and blow away like the old League of Nations. Great Article.

I recently enjoyed an article written by Henry Lamb. But it left me with a question about the origins of of mad cow disease. My understanding is that the disease is spread by prions which are found primarily in the brain and nervous system of cattle, or other animals including humans. I have read that the disease was first discovered in humans among indigenous cultures (cannibals) who were practicing a ritual of eating the brain of their dead loved ones (Haiti?). The eating of infected family rapidly escalated the spread of death in a family.
I was told by an MD that prions are not pathogens and are not destroyed by heat. What do you and your colleagues know about this disease? Does anyone know what percentage of rendered cattle is allowed in our feed? My understanding has been that we actually permitted a higher rate in US feed stocks then did Europe at the time of the big scare in Europe but since then we have watered/diluted our stock down while Europe destroyed theirs.
I have read too, that scientists have more evidence that bird flue originated within mega-factories. Some factories in other countries (China?) dwarf ours by comparison. If the origins of our scariest diseases are found in feed stock and mega-factories, it makes me want to know who produces the final feed products and who owns/franchises(?) the factory farms. Do you see/think what I do? I see a corporative cooperative looking for a scape goat. I have read that native peoples living around mega chicken factories know where the sick chickens are coming from and it is not them. I have read that some have been successful at rehabilitating sick chickens by letting them free range and especially eat termites which chickens love. SO THE ACTUAL CURE TO THE PROBLEM IS FOUND IN THAT WHICH MAY BE BLAMED FOR THE PROBLEM. How can we be so blind?
Is this a conscious intention? The whole food system is Corporatized or fascist. The myth, the lie, the propaganda can be blasted open by blasting or informing growers with the truth. NAIS has caught me by surprise because I have been focused on the subject of energy depletion.
I will return to your web site to learn more about NAIS and thank you again for all you are doing.

You make several interesting observations. Some of the questions you raise are addressed in this article.
Just read your The North American Union 'matrix' on the eco-logic Powerhouse website. I really like the chronological structure of the article and hope that you can site a source for each of the dates and quotes you cite. There are still many naysayers out there so the references would make your article an excellent tool for dissemination of the truth. Of course, web- based citations would be great.

There's only one way to get through to the UN:
New York building inspectors need to condemn the buildings which need renovation and order the UN to vacate them immediately and find new accomodations in another country. I suggest France. Paris is the center of the world (in its own mind, anyway) and has the cuisine that international diplomats believe is their right. It also has the nightlife and sophistication and a diverse community. It is more accessible to more countries than New York, which is at least an ocean away from most of the world. After a few days experiencing Paris, the UN will never miss New York and the feeling will be mutual.

I read Teichrib's report on regionalism, and wow, this pulls it together unlike anything I've seen yet. In the past few years I've read many articles on regional governance, but none that draws the links this one does. After reading it, I can easily see why our nation continues to follow self-defeating immigration, economic, and energy strategies. If Freedom 21 or EcoLogic/Powerhouse has a "best research journalism" award, I strongly nominate this writer.
Is Teichrib going to be at the upcoming Freedom 21 conference? I don't see his name on the Freedom speaker list, which after reading this report is a real shame. He really needs to be there and present his findings to the research/policy-lobby community, for thier sakes and the sake of understanding the larger trends changing our nation. I'm sorry about the rambling, but this is such vital material, and it's something that most of us are missing in our larger understanding of freedom and national issues.
Good job, Eco Logic, in publishing this report. Every policy planner and political researcher needs to see it.
